Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park,
After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park, have a morning game drive followed by lunch and an afternoon game drive, and stay overnight in your already-prepared Twiga Campsite before sunset. Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its fabulous pink flamingos and lion climbing trees adventures.
The second interesting aspect is the nature and landscape in Lake Manyara National Park which is located behind the escarpment rising west ward. Enjoy your time with lions, hippos, antelopes, impalas, and zebras just beside your safari vehicle. When in flamingo’s season, Lake Manyara is covered by flamingos feeding algae in the lake shore.

Serengeti Plains
We do game viewing drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River, and which is good for possible lion, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah sightings. The visitor’s centre not far from the Serengeti public campsites, is well worth a visit after the morning’s game drive. This nicely designed centre, offers some interesting wildlife displays as well as a gift shop selling information leaflets and maps of the area.
In the afternoon we will follow the Kopjes Circuit, which goes anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes, which usually attract a number of lion and some formidably large cobras. Kopjes are weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. This makes the kopjes particularly good for spotting wildlife in the dry seasons including lions which like to lie in wait for animals coming to drink.

Ngorongoro Crater to Tarangire National Park
Wake up in the morning and have breakfast before your morning game drive followed by lunch and an afternoon game drive to Arusha. Serengeti may be better known, but Tarangire in the dry season easily rivals it for animal densities. Besides the herds of elephant, Tarangire is also home to buffalos, lions, wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles while gerenuks and fringe-eared onyxes are local specialties. Lake Burunge’s marshy shores are the lure for these mammals and the waters attract many beautiful bird species.
Tarangire has more than 500 bird species. Tarangire is noted for its splendid baobab trees, rolling savannah, and acacia woodland. At the end of an inspiring afternoon amongst the wildlife, you will retire to the comfort of the campsite for an evening meal. Dinner and overnight stay will be in your already-booked Arusha Center Inn Tourist, Venice Hotel or similar hotel in Arusha town.
