Dar es salaam to Selous game reserve
After breakfast, then introduction from RajaTours stuffs you will be picked up from your hotel/Airport in Dar es salaam drive to Selous game reserve which is almost (218.6 km)approximates 4 hours driving, arrive at Hippo camp in time for lunch (or if arriving late than just light refreshments).
Nestled within the woodland along the banks of the great Rufiji River. Enjoy sunset cruise on our comfortable rooms, watching for hippos, crocodiles and birds, and enjoying the spectacular sunset over this enormous river. Dinner and your overnight stay at camp, if you will arrive early you will do game drive/boat safari.

Game drive in Selous game reserve
After breakfast in the morning enjoy full day game drive by modified safari vehicle with a professional guide. Great animals sightings including all the great favorites lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebra and all the other major species including the now rare African hunting dog.
You will also see a large variety of birds, wonderful scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest and higher ground with vast views of far off mountains, in the afternoon packed lunch and some time to rest.
Your guide will select a location with shade and water nearby to watch animals coming to drink, enjoy 3 hours boat safari in Rufiji river in the evening you will head back to the lodge for a delicious sunset dinner when you’re ready and then retire for the night.

Selous game drive
You will spend the full day on a game drive within Selous Game Reserve, so named after the explorer Frederick Selous. Selous is the largest protected wildlife reserve and a UN World Heritage site. Its topography varies from rolling Savannah woodland to grassland plain and rocky outcrops cut by the Rufiji River and its tributaries.
Later you will explore the bush during a walking safari with an armed ranger and/or Maasai guide. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp. you will participate boot safari and walking safari with your lunch boxes.

Selous to Mikumi national park
After breakfast you will drive to Mikumi National Park via Northern Selous which is 4 hours driving. Whilst on safari you will see a wide variety of bird species, zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland antelope, giraffe, buffalo and elephants.
If you are lucky you may also be able to spot lions, leopards and African wild dogs. Several observation towers enable you to overview the park in its entirety. Enjoy a picnic lunch during the day and dinner and your overnight stay at the lodge.

Game drive in Mikumi national park
Enjoy a full day of game drives in Mikumi National Park. You will eat a picnic lunch at midday and get the chance to see some of what you missed on the first day in the park. Your dinner and overnights stay will be at the Mikumi Safari Lodge, which is located thirty minutes outside the gate to the park.

Mikumi to Udzungwa mountains
Today you will depart for Udzungwa Mountain National Park, arriving in the afternoon. Take part in a half day of hiking and bird watching in the pristine rain forest. Later you will trek towards the Sanje waterfalls for spectacular views of the wide Kilombero Valley. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the Udzungwa Forest Camp.

Trials and birds watching in udzungwa mountains
After breakfast, hiking through the beautiful forests and landscape scenery of Udzungwa with packed lunch boxes with a professional guide, on the way you will learn about various trees used for traditional healing, a bird life and then heading to the top for a great and an amazing view of the Sanje Waterfalls And while on top of the Waterfall, you can have a great view of the enormous Kilombero Sugarcane Valley (one of the biggest Tanzanias sugarcane plantation). Back in the late evening for hot dinner and stay the night at Udzungwa Falls Lodge (breakfast, lunch & dinner included).

Udzungwa to Ruaha national park
After breakfast early in the morning from Mikumi national park by Jeep drive direct to Ruaha national park almost 274 km with lunch boxes via Iringa town, you will be passing though country side and have nice scenery and beautiful valleys and mountains. Upon arrival you will Visit to the museum which holds the head of the great local chief Mkwawa who resisted the Germans/in Iringa town, then drive to lodge/ hotel.

Game drive in Ruaha national park
After breakfast, lunch boxes experience extensive game drives in Ruaha National Park in order to explore its topography and wildlife. Ruaha is the second largest elephant sanctuary in Tanzania. The great Ruaha River, which flows along its entire eastern border, creates spectacular gorges and scenery and features a large of number of hippos and crocodiles.
Special animals that inhabit the park include both the greater and lesser kudu and the roan and sable antelope. Bird life is also rich, with over 370 species recorded. Your dinner and overnight will be at the camp.

Game drive and walking safari
After breakfast we will depart the lodge and spend another day game driving and walking safari in Ruaha National Park. You will eat a picnic lunch at midday and take time to visit sites you didn’t get to see the first day. After the game drive we will depart the park before for dinner and your overnight stay at the Ruaha Hilltop Lodge.

Ruaha to Dar es salaam
Today you will return to to Dar es Salaam by plane, arriving late afternoon. Breakfast and a lunch box will be provided.
