Description

The most popular safaris in Tanzania (and the least expensive) usually include several parks in the North of the country. Since you can fly into Kilimanjaro International Airport (situated between the towns of Arusha and Moshi) you can also avoid spending too much time in urban areas and get into the bush as quickly as possible. Many safari goes these days are as interested in visiting local tribes as they are spotting the "Big Five".

  • Moshi to Tarangire national park

    Pick up from your Hotel in Moshi/Arusha at 8:30 am and start driving towards Tarangire national park which is about 2 hours to reach there, clear all registrations at the gate and enter into the park for the all day game drive then overnight at Tarangire Safari lodge.

  • Tarangire to serengeti

    After breakfast you will depart towards Serengeti national park via Ngorongoro conservation area on transit game drive as you go, expect to stop regularly for animal viewing as you drive to Serengeti then all afternoon game drive and overnight at Serengeti Tortillis luxury tented camp.

  • Northen Serengeti

    Full day game drive inside Northern Serengeti and overnight at Mara under Canvas/Serengeti Acacia luxury tented camp in Northern Serengeti. This is the best viewing location for wildebeest migration as it is very close to Mara river. Expect to see other wildlife and beautiful as well.

  • Northern Serengeti

    Another full day game drive in Northern Serengeti and overnight at Above-Mara Under Canvas. This is another full day which gives you more time to search for wildebeest migration and other wildlife on more relaxing way. Utilize this opportunity to cover what you did not cover the day before.

  • Serengeti to Ngorongoro conservation area

    Morning game drive in Serengeti till lunch time then start en route game drive to Ngorongoro conservation area for overnight at the rim of the crater at Ngorongoro wildlife lodge. This day you can decide to stop at Masai village on the way or Olduvai gorge this is an optional activities.

  • Ngorongoro crater game drive

    After breakfast you will drive to the ngorongoro crater for the full day game drive and overnight at Karatu Simba lodge. Enjoy the beautiful nature and scenery of the crater whereby all animals are leaving inside crater all year around. You have high chance to see big five here.

  • Lake Manyara-Arusha

    Depart to Lake Manyara for game drive at 7:00am, enjoy good game drive till lunch time then start driving towards Arusha for your Hotel overnight/ Kilimanjaro airport for your departure.
