  • Tarangire National Park

Depart with your naturalist driver guide for Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive. TanzaniaÂ’s is the sixth largest national park in Tanzania after Ruaha, Serengeti, Mikumi, Katavi and Mkomazi. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire river that crosses through the park, being the only source of water for wild animals during dry seasons. During the dry season thousands of animals migrate to the Tarangire National Park from Manyara National Park. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah, and up to six thousand elephant. The park is also a sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. Diner and overnight at Lake Burunge Tented Camp If an accommodation is fully booked, well suggest a comparable alternative.

  • Lake Eyasi – Hadzabe & Datoga Tribes

After breakfast, departure for a bush walk and a cultural visit with the semi-nomadic tribes are also included. Picnic lunch will be served before you proceed to Lake Eyasi, on the outer slopes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Cross the floor of the Great Rift Valley near Lake Manyara. Enjoy the experience of shopping and bargaining for cloth, crafts and local produce in the markets of Mto Wa Mbu or Karatu. Afternoon visit to a school then a beautiful drive up the Rift Valley escarpment to Lake Eyasi for sundowners and a relaxing evening. Diner and overnight at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge If an accommodation is fully booked, well suggest a comparable alternative.

  • The Great Rift Valley & Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning walking and hunting/gathering with Hadzabe Bushmen or spend time participating in the morning routine of the settlement. Your local guide will interpret for you and discuss hunting and gathering techniques still used by the tribes. Be prepared for an extraordinary cross-cultural experience as you join these nomadic Bushmen in their daily life. Then visit the Datoga, a tribe of semi-nomadic pastoralists who migrated into this area looking for good grazing land many decades ago. They have so far resisted neighbouring tribesÂ’ cultural infiltration. The women, still wearing locally fat treated goatskin gowns, carve their faces and bodies to look prettier. It is a humbling and fascinating experience learning about their history and culture. In the afternoon, departure for Ngorongoro. Diner and overnight will be at Tloma Lodge.

  • Ngorongoro Crater & Serengeti National Park

Depart early in the morning to reach the crater crest and admire the spectacular view of this huge caldera in which we then descend for a memorable safari. Safari in the bottom of the crater. This caldera of 20km diameter and 600m deep is a true wild paradise. The few tracks allow to observe almost all the wildlife. The spectacle of this immense circle is fairytale: below, the bottom of the crater is an immense savanna, encompassing a forest and a lake where grazing and live multiple wild animals and their predators. Unique place, which was created to protect wildlife, and let the Masai population coexist in this territory. The crater is classified as World Heritage by Unesco, and this gigantic caldera is home to one of the largest animal concentrations in the world. The majority of the large mammals of the Serengeti are represented there, where one is most likely to observe black rhinoceros. In the middle of the afternoon, departure for our charming camp of the Serengeti park.

  • Explore Serengeti National Park

Morning drive to the Serengeti plains, stopping en route at the Olduvai Gorge where Mary Leakey discovered the remains of Australopithecus Homo habilis and Homo erectus. Serengeti is perhaps the most impressive wildlife sanctuary in the world. These vast, seemingly unending plains are inhabited during the migration by enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra. The herds attract the attention of predators like lion, cheetah and hyena. Another interesting feature of the Serengeti is the massive granite kopjes, islands of rock standing in a sea of grass. The kopjes provide shelter to a great variety of plants and animals, from the elusive leopard to the tiny dik dik. Exploration of the legendary park is mostly by vehicle. Overnight (2 nights) at Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp.

  • Ngorongoro Karatuu Village

After breakfast, depart for a morning game drive. A full 100 varieties of dung beetle have been recorded, as have 500-plus bird species, ranging from the outsized ostrich and bizarre secretary bird of the open grassland, to the black eagles that soar effortlessly above the Serengeti National Park. After lunch depart to Karatu, we will visit the Olduvai Gorge. This place is commonly referred to as "The Cradle of Mankind". It is one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world and has been instrumental in furthering understanding of early human evolution. We proceed to Karatu where we will have dinner and overnight at Tloma Lodge.

  • Kilimanjaro International Airport

After breakfast at the lodge, take a walk escorted by a guide through one of the very attractive paths in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
