Dar es salaam to Selous Game Reserve
Depart Dar es Salaam at 0700hrs and start driving the five hours to Selous Game Reserve. You will stop along the way for a hot lunch and arrive at Selous in the afternoon. After getting settled in the camp you will depart on a two to three hour boat safari, You will discover the Rufiji River by boat, encounter hippos and crocodiles in good numbers. Some 350 bird species have been recorded in the Selous Game Reserve. These are typical of miombo woodlands, and the bird life supported by Rufiji swamplands is of particular interest. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Africa Safari Camp.
