We offer unique Cultural Tourism options, visiting areas where few tourists travel. Savannah Discovery has a special insight into Maasai culture in that two of our directors are from the Maasai tribe and have deep connections to the areas where we take visitors keen to experience this ancient and iconic tribe.

Our Tanzanian guides have years of experience and a passion for the East African environment, cultures, flora and fauna. They are also enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly - hugely important as often the guide can make or break your experience. Savannah Discovery ensures that you will enjoy the very best that Tanzania has to offer, including undiscovered cultural tourism, the great plains of the Serengeti and Kilimanjaro, while at the same time taking care of our community and environment. Since the beginning we have supported Umoja Tanzania, an NGO supporting the most vulnerable youth and children in Northern Tanzania. In 2014 we embarked on a community development project in the Maasai territory of Simanjiro.

Savannah Discovery is committed to completing a nursery school as our first project. We believe it is possible for us to offer quality tours, showcasing the very best of East Africa,and at the same time respecting local communities and the natural environment. In fact, we believe that by growing a successful business carefully and organically, we can assist development in Tanzania. Savannah Discovery is a registered tour company in Tanzania.
