Description

Gombe is the smallest of Tanzanias national parks. This park in a fragile strip of chimpanzee habitat straddling the steep slopes and river valleys that hem in the sandy northern shore of Lake Tanganyika. Its chimpanzees, which are habituated to human visitors, were made famous by the pioneering work of Jane Goodall who founded a behavioral research program in 1960.   • Dar-es-salaam – Morogoro – Drive to Mikumi National Park

    Early morning after breakfast depart Dar es salaam to Mikumi where upon arrival you will have game viewing / driving around the park till sun-set dinner and overnight at Mikumi Bush Camp or Mikumi Bandas. You will be able to see Elephant, Lion, Wild dog, Zebras, Hyena, Buffalo, Wildebeest, Eland, Hartebeest, Crocodile, Lizard and other residents. Over 300 species of birds have been observed in this park. Meal Plan {Lunch & Dinner}.

    Enjoy an early morning breakfast, leave the camp to Mikumi Park for morning game viewing is the best time for game viewing as most of the killings take place around this time. Our professional guide is always happy to share with you lots of hidden secrets in the Mikumi, why Mikumi shall never die, how Darwins theory, survival of the fittest applies in the Serengeti and much much more.
