Description

Discover the wildlife of Tanzania as you visit its northern parks: Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. You will see the big five and enjoy stunning views as you make your way through these beautiful parks. After the safari you will make your way to the tropical island of Zanzibar. Here you will relax, discover Stone Town and enjoy boat Tours.

  • Tarangire National Park

Today you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and drive 2.5 hours through beautiful landscapes to Tarangire National Park. After lunch you will go on a game drive in the park all afternoon. After the game drive you will make your way to the campsite. Freshen up and prepare for a dinner prepared by your private cook at 7:00pm. Tarangire National Park is located 115 km south of Arusha.

It is a long and narrow park that covers 2850 km2 and runs along the Tarangire River. The name of the park is taken from the river, which is the only source of water for the wild animals that live here during the dry season. The park is famous for its large number of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons.

  • Lake Manyara National Park

Today we will go on a full day game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. This park is known for its breathtaking panoramic views, waterfalls and babbling brooks with clear water and hot springs. It is located between the rocks of the Great Rift Valley and Lake Manyara. Of the approximately 390 km2 that make up the park, two-thirds of that is water. The rest of the park is a large strip of land between the lake and the rocks.

The beauty of this park is partly due to its large variety of wildlife, grasslands, forests and water. Lake Manyara has one of the largest populations of water birds in Africa at over 400 species, including flamingos and pelicans. Large herds of elephants are also found here, as well as giraffes, hippos, water buffalos and impalas. At the end of the afternoon you will make your way to the camp site. Freshen up and prepare for a dinner prepared by your private cook at 7:00pm.

  • Serengeti National Park

Today you will head into the Serengeti and spend three days exploring this amazing park. At the end of each game drive you will head to your campsite in the middle of the park and enjoy a nice dinner prepared by your chef. The Serengeti is known for its endless savannah plains and forest landscapes. It covers an area of ??about 30,000 km2 in the north of Tanzania and Kenya, 80% of which is located in Tanzania.

The park is famous for the migration involving about 1.5 million herbivores and thousands of predators fleeing drought in search of fresh water and grazing. After the rains arrive in mid-April they make the reserve journey via a deTour through the western portion of the Serengeti. Grasslands cover more than one third of the park and you will find many animals here throughout the year.

  • Ngorongoro Crater

Wake up early in the morning and eat breakfast before making your way into the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater is 20km in diameter, 600m high and is the largest intact crater in the world. An estimated 30,000 large mammals live in the crater, which features a salt lake at its center.

This is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in the world! The Masai and Hadza people live together in harmony with the animals that also call this place home. From the edge you will look out over the impressive crater and all of its wonderful inhabitants. In the afternoon we will drive back to Arusha in time for dinner.

  • Zanzibar Island

In the morning you will fly to Zanzibar Island, which is famous for its tropical character. The Zanzibar coastline consists mainly of white sandy beaches and clear blue water. These waters are excellent for diving and snorkeling because of the many colorful coral reefs found below the surface. By far the best way to see all of the historical buildings and sites is through a Tour of old Stone Town!

Walk through the narrow streets and capture the feeling of the old colonial Arabian architecture that is now a UNESCO Historical Site. Well take you to see many of the important sights, such as the former slave market, The Anglican Cathedral, The House of Wonders, The Sultans Palace and the old Arab Fort. The Safari Blue Tour is one of the most popular trips departing from the Paje/Jambiani coast. You will board an African wooden dhow sailboat and have the chance to see dolphins!
