About Shimoni Aqua Ventures

Pilli Pipa Dhow, well known for our day trip to introduce dolphin spotters, snorkellers and divers to Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park in Kenya now has a new dhow, ALMASI, swahili for diamond. Beautiful sailing, diving and snorkelling. Run by the owners, Selina and Harm Lutjeboer, both PADI MSTD dive instructors.

You will return home with good memories of lunch, a crab and freshly caught fish eaten overloking the Wasini Channel. A rare chance to spend a few hours on a completely undeveloped island, totally adrift from the mainstream of life.

Look out for monkeys, lizards, parrots and a wide variety of birdlife around our garden and during the short forest walk. Before you leave Shimoni you can visit the famous Shimoni Cave, an optional extra.
