• Day 1

  Game Drive & Boat Safari along Kazinga channel

  After an early breakfast at 6.00am, your guide together with a game ranger will take you on a game drive to the northern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park through the Kasenyi track in search for lions, hyenas, buffaloes, leopards, water bucks, bush bucks, Uganda Kobs plus many bird species including ibis, fish eagles and vultures etc. You will head back to your lodge for relaxation and lunch.

  After lunch, you will embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel – a natural channel that connects Lakes George and Edward. On the cruise, view great numbers of wildlife including elephants, crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes and large numbers of birds like eagles, kingfishers, eaglets converging at the channel waters to enjoy a sip of the natural waters. You will then be driven back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 2

  Drive to Lake Mburo National Park

  This morning, after breakfast, you will set off for Lake Mburo National Park – one of two parks in Uganda where it is allowed to go for a bush walk with an experienced ranger to see game at close range. You could choose a bush walk, horse-back safari or ride in the park on a mountain bike as you view game. You check-in at your Lodge and enjoy lunch.

  After lunch, you can choose two optional activities including a mountain-bike safari ($15 p.p extra not included in cost) or a horseback safari ($60 p.p extra not included in cost) for 2 hours. You will spot buffaloes, zebras, gazelles etc as you ride while also enjoying wonderful scenery along the way. After your walking safari, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 3

  Game Drive and Boat Cruise

  In the morning you will have breakfast before going for a game drive in the park’s Northern area to see the animals like buffaloes, lions, elephants, and if fortunate even see a leopard. Other animals you will see include: Rothschild giraffes, bush bucks, warthogs, water bucks and a great diversity of other antelopes in large numbers. You will return to the lodge for lunch and later in the afternoon go for the thrilling boat cruise on the bottom.

  You will sail close to the bottom of the falls and while on this cruise you will see various birds, numerous hippos and giant crocodiles plus some other animals grazing close to the banks. If fortunate, you may see the uncommon shoe bill stork plus various other bird species within this area. You will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
