Brand new for 2013, Fanjove Private Island Lodge is part of the Songo Songo Archipelago, 140km south of Dar es Salaam, in the Indian Ocean. Less than a kilometre long and with only six bandas, this is one of only two private Island experiences in Tanzania (the other being the very expensive Mnemba Island). The island was previously uninhabit, Fanjove the unspoiled land and Private, its an unique place to visit and relax on white sand beach, the beach that you will enjoy and like it.

  • Dar es salaam - to Fanjove via songosongo

    Depart from Dar es salaam with coastal light flight at 1045 and arrive songosongo at 1145 or depart at 1500 and arrive 1545. Arrive at songosongo, the lodge will send a dhow to transfer the clients to fanjove Bandas for full board accommodation, the ransfer takes less than 10 minuts.

  • Relax at the beach- Fanjove

    After breakfast the clients will have a tour of the Island not out of the Island, and relax at the white sands, the beach on this side is very clean water and you can easily swimm, the enviroment is beautiful and will real give you the teste of the beach holiday. clients will be around the accommodation so it will be good to get the hot lunch and later in the evening the dinner.

  • Depart songosongo - Dar es salaam

    After breakfst, the clients will prepare to check out of the Bandas. Transfer by dhow to songosongo to arrive with good time to catch the flight which will depart at 1245 or 1515 back to Dar es salaam, and this will be the end of this tour. Kinly note: there is no ATM in fanjove so all payment for extras must be paid bycash either in Tshs or in USD/Euro.
