This safari takes you to Uganda’s most visited national parks, Bwindi impenetrable forest home to the mountain gorillas and pygmies as well as Queen Elizabeth National Park famous for tree- climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes with a chance to do a memorable boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel where you get an opportunity to sight the most number of hippos, crocodiles and several bird species. Its adventure worth doing.


  • Arrival –Transfer to your hotel

    Meet and greet at Entebbe international airport where the guide of The Great Trekkers Safaris will transfer you to your lodge in Entebbe. After checking in, our guide will brief you about your adventure safari and later retire for overnight at Pineapple guest house. B.B.

  • Entebbe- Bwindi Impenetrable

    Early morning departure 6:00hrs with stopovers at the Equator for photographic experience. Lunch in Mbarara arriving late in the evening. Check in the hotel and relax for gorilla trekking experience the following day. Dinner and Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge. B.L.D.

  • Gorilla Trekking & Batwa community walk

    In the morning, our guide will walk to the briefing point. Rally behind the ranger as he briefs you about the dos and don’ts while you meet with the Mountain gorillas. Enter the forest with the armed rangers and when you meet the gorillas, you are allowed to spend one hour as you observe them closely while they eat, play and rest.

    A unique and unforgettable experience! In the evening, you will enjoy the Batwa Trail, a firsthand introduction to one of the most unique cultures worldwide. The Batwa pygmies are a forest people displaced from the rain forest they shared with mountain gorillas.

    This experience will give you the opportunity to learn more about their age old culture while you enjoy a hike with the Batwa guides, see how they lived and hunted, hear ancient legends and learn about medical plants. The revenue generated from these activities directly benefits the Batwa to strengthen their community. Dinner and Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge. B.L.D.

  • Bwindi –Queen Elizabeth national park

    Have breakfast, check out of lodge and we start our road drive transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its big game – elephants, tree-climbing lions and leopards which are the main attractions – and for its great scenery beauty.

    Arrive in Ishasha check at your lodge and have lunch. Later in the evening embark on an evening game drive in this part of the park in search for the big cats. Return to the lodge for dinner and over night.

  • Extended game drive

    Have a morning breakfast, check out of lodge and enjoy another game drive through ishasha section where you get another opportunity to sight several wildlife before we transfer to another lodge in the northern section of the park.

    Arrival in time for lunch and spend the rest of afternoon enjoying the scenic view of this park. Later in the evening we head for a guided nature -community walk to the twin crater lakes and return in time for dinner and night rest at your lodge.

  • Game drive in Kasenyi and Boat cruise

    Depart after your morning breakfast for a game at Queen Elizabeth National Park. The ParkÂ’s diverse Eco-system of grassy plains, tropical forest, rivers, swamps, lakes and volcanic craters is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife. The park is a home to lion, leopard, and giant forest hog, Cape buffalo, elephants, de fassa waterbuck, Uganda Kob, Topi and bush buck.

    Then later proceed for an afternoon boat-cruise that offers an excellent platform for photography and game viewing. The birdlife is colorful and abundant. Return to the lodge for Dinner and Overnight at the lodge.

  • Queen Elizabeth national park

    Have morning breakfast, check out of lodge and we start a road drive back to Entebbe stopping en route for lunch before we drive through Kampala for shopping and depending on your flight schedule we drive you later to the airport in time for your flight back home.

    Exchange of hugs and say bye to the pearl of Africa after this memorable adventure.
