• Day 1

  Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

  You will depart very early from Dar es Salaam driving directly to Mikumi in a 4x4 safari Jeep. You will arrive in the park after approximately 4 hours, depending on traffic. You will enjoy lunch at Morogoro Town then drive into Mikumi National Park. After lunch you will take off on your first game drive until late in the evening. Thereafter you will drive just a few kilometers from the park gate near the park boundary where you will have dinner and settle in for your overnight stay at the Camp Bastian Mikumi Camp Site (Basic Camping).

• Day 2

  Mikumi National Park-Full Day Game Drive

  Early morning breakfast then with your picnic lunch venture in to a full day game drive in Mikumi National Park. The wildlife viewing experience in this park can be experienced right upon entering the park where you can encounter Baboons, Zebras and Impalas just to mention a few, you will have the opportunity to view the unique Mikumi Giraffes that naturalists say seem to be a cross breed between reticulated and Maasai Graffes. Lions can be easily sported in this park.

  Game drive around the park trail leads you to the hippo pool, which is the best visited during the late afternoons as the distant setting sun and the bobbing hippos heads create perfect pictures there after sporting the wallowing Buffalos at the Mkata flood plains and Elephants congregating near the water hole. In the evening drive back to your camp arrival ready for dinner and overnight at Camp Bastian Mikumi Camp Site (Basic Camping).

• Day 3

  Mikumi National Park to Dar es Salaam

  After breakfast depart with your picnic lunch to have another last game drive in Mikumi National Park. You will have chance to see more of this park that nature will produce for you. You can be able to see big groups of buffaloes, Impalas, Elephants, Zebras and many more, you will continue with game drive till noon then drive back to Dar es Salaam arrival late in the evening.
