• Day 1

  Transfer to Bwindi-Lake Bunyonyi

  You wiil start with an early morning Transfer by private car from kampala to Lake Bunyonyi near the Gorilla Sanctuary of Bwindi. Lunch will be en-route in Mbarara at Igongo cultural center. Depending on the arrival time, you may opt for a guided village walk to the hilltop bar to get a panoramic view of the lake and the surrounding hills. Games such as pool table and table tennis as well as board games are available.

  Depending on the time available you can take a walk further up the hills, along village paths to get the view of the beautiful sunset if the weather allows. Other activities you can enjoy are: bicycle around the village, ride a canoe on the lake, take a boat ride to the islands, hire a fishing rod and fish in the lake, swim in the lake but with caution as thermal shock is a real danger (at your risk). Look out for the rich bird life. Meal Plan: Lunch and Dinner. Overnight at Bunyonyi Safaris Resort.

• Day 2

  Gorilla tracking & Hiking in the forest

  After an Early breakfast Transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing from park ranger guides. At 8:00am: Start the gorilla tracking. This may take between 2 hours to 8 hours. Picnic lunch in the forest. Return to Bunyonyi Safaris Resort for overnight. If the weather allows, you will have a campfire dinner by the lakeside. The local harpist will entertain you to songs and traditional harp music. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Overnight at Bunyonyi Safaris Resort.

• Day 3

  Transfer to Kampala

  After an early breakfast, return to Kampala with Lunch en-route and on arrival, you will check in at your overnight accommodation. Meal plan-Breakfast & Lunch, Medium/Budget: Namirembe Guest House (B&B), High End: Cassia Lodge (BB). You will enjoy a great scenic view of the different landscapes, take pictures by the Equator and get amazed by the mystries of the area.

• Day 4

  Kampala-Murchison Falls

  After you morning breakfast by 8 30 am: Depart for Murchison Falls National Park. The journey takes you through the Great Rift Valley and rolling savannas. We stop at the Murchison falls to enjoy the view of the awesome falls. Meal Plan: breakfast, lunch, dinner, Medium/Budget: Sambiya River Lodge (FB) or High End: Paraa Safari Lodge (FB).

• Day 5

  Murchison Falls National Park-Game Drive-Boat Ride

  By 6 00am: After a quick cup of coffee/Tea, take an early morning game drive to view herds of elephant, lion, buffalo, baboon, warthog, leopard, giraffe, and other wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast. In the afternoon, enjoy the wildlife, birds and scenery as you take a boat cruise up the river Nile to the bottom of Murchison Falls.

  Hippos and crocodiles are in plenty, other animals such as elephants and buffaloes will be watering at the water’s edge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch & dinner. Medium/Budget: Sambiya River Lodge (FB), High End: Paraa Safari Lodge (FB).

• Day 6

  To Kampala/ Entebbe

  After an early breakfast by 8:00am transfer to Kampala or Entebbe for your late afternoon or Evening flight. Meal Plan: Breakfast. Cost includes: Services as specified in the itinerary, Accommodation as detailed in the itinerary based on 2 people sharing a room, Two 4—4 safari vehicles with services of an English speaking driver/guide.

  1 Gorilla permit per person, All park fees, Game drives, Boat ride at Murchison Falls, Bottled water per day, Flying Doctors Medical evacuation insurance services. Cost excludes. Personal expenses, air ticket, visas, tips and alcoholic beverages.
