• Day 1

  Transfers to Mikumi - Evening and Sunset Game Drives

  Today you will be picked from your hotel in Dar es Salaam at around 05:00 hours. After greetings and introductions you will start driving to Mikumi National Park via Morogoro Town. You will stop in Chalinze for breakfast and refreshments. When you get to the park you will be checked in and start game drives with a lunch break taken within the park. You will continue with game drives until sunset at around 18:30 hours.

  Mikumi National Park you can expect to see animals such as lion, buffalo, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, impala, warthog, elephant, hippo, more than 300 bird species, and various plant species.Dinner and overnight will be stay at the Park Cottages. The meal plan for today includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and refreshments.

• Day 2

  Full day Game Drives and Transfers to Udzungwa Mountains

  Today you will be taken for a sunrise game drive starting from 06:30 until around 08:30 where you will have breakfast within the park and then continue with game drives until the end of the day. At around 16:00 hours, we will take a lunch break in the park in the afternoon.

  In Mikumi National Park expect to see animals such as lion, buffalo, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, impala, warthog, elephant, hippo, more than 300 bird species, and various plant species. After game drives, you will be transferred to Udzungwa Mountains. Dinner and overnight will be at Twiga Hotel and the meal plans includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and refreshments.

• Day 3

  Trekking Udzungwa Mountains and Transfers to Dar Es Salaam

  The purpose of this trip is to show you the natural habitats of Udzungwa National Park. Early in the morning of this day you will be picked from you hotel in Udzungwa and start climbing taking the Sanje route to be able to see the 4 stages waterfalls. Udzungwa is one of thirty four World Biodiversity hot spots. You can expect to see many primates here. Udzungwa has 11 primates species, 2 of which are found no where else in the world, the are Sanje Mangabey (Cercocebus sanjei) and Iringa Red Colobus (Procobus gordonorum).

  Also you may have the opportunity to see the habituated Sanje Mangabeys, different endemic plant species, birds, reptiles, and amphibians, butterflies, waterfalls, etc. When you come down you will start driving back to Dar es Salaam via Morogoro town. When you arrive in Dar you will be taken to your hotel or any other place you wish to be transferred to. The meal plan today includes breakfast, lunch, and refreshments.
