• Day 1

  Arusha National Park

  After breakfast, you will drive towards Arusha National Park, about 30 mins outside the city of Arusha. At the foot of Mount Meru, this small park will give you a first taste of how Exciting is a game drive. You will drive towards the lakes searching for giraffes, buffalos and the famous black and white colobus, a monkey found only in this park.Picnic for lunch By the end of the day, you will return to Arusha for the night.

• Day 2

  Lake Manyara National Park

  After breakfast, you will drive towards Manyara for a day Safari in the Park. The park has a unique forestland Ecosystem. From the main gate, the road winds through a luxurious jungle where groups of a hundred or more baboons can be found by the road side. Blue monkeys are climbing in old acacia trees and the bushbuck is gently moving in the shade of the forest. In the meantime, the beautiful silvery-cheeked hornbills are having a cacophonic concert in the canopy. By the end of the afternoon, drive to your hotel in Karatu for the night.

• Day 3

  Ngorongoro Crater

  After a 30 mins drive from your hotel, you will reach the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and you will descent in the Ngorongoro Crater for a day safari. The breathtaking view from above is just the beginning. As you wind down the crater walls in your jeep the real magic happens when you reach the crater floor. The Ngorongoro crater is a wide caldera with an inside diameter of 12 miles. It shelters a tremendous fauna perfectly preserved by the natural crater walls. Put simply this is one of Africas prime attractions and is well deserving of its Unesco World Heritage site status. With an incredible high density of lions and overall predator population this has an unparalleled concentration of wildlife not to be missed. In the afternoon, you will return to your hotel in Karatu.

• Day 4

  Tarangire National Park

  After breakfast you will depart to the Tarangire national park. This park covers a surface of 2850 km2 and is well known for his large herds of animals, especially elephants. The park shelters species difficult to localize and observe in the Northern Parks, like: gerenuk, lesser and greater kudu and eland (the largest antelope in Africa). Many baobab trees stand on the hilly plains. The Tarangire River crossing the park has permanent water points. The baobab bark is tearing off by the elephants, overpopulated in this park, and looking for water. A large number of termites mounds dot the landscape. At the end of the afternoon, you drive back to Arusha for the night.

• Day 5

  Zanzibar Island

  Breakfast and morning free, with the possibility to visit Arusha or buying souvenirs. Before lunch time, transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Flight Arusha-Zanzibar. Arrival in Zanzibar in the afternoon and transfer to your lodge by the ocean side for the night.

  The hotel is located in the small fisherman village of Jambiani on the south-east cost of the island. The landscape there is dominated by fine white sand beaches, palm trees and the livelihood of the village. Tours can easily be organized from the hotel.

  After breakfast and depending on your flight schedule, transfer to the airport for your international flight.
