• Day 1

  Dar Es salaam - Mikumi

  Meet & greet in Dar Es salaam at 0730 hrs and drive with lunch box to enjoy along the way, to Mikumi. Enjoy the beautiful scenery while passing through Uluguru Mountains and the Sisal Plantation at Morogoro. Upon arrival you will take part in a late afternoon game drive.

  Mikumi is home to elephants, monkey, baboon, giraffe, buffalo, zebra, gazelle, and many more; if you’re lucky you might see pride of lion ramble around or relax under the shady of acacia umbrella tree. You will also visit the hippo pool and other attractions. In the evening you will have dinner and turn in for the night.

• Day 2

  Mikumi - Ruaha

  After breakfast drive with lunch box in hand, to Ruaha. Along the way you will visit local villages & farms. As you pass through the Kitonga hills, which are part of the Udzungwa Mountains, the road then follows the Great Ruaha River and then climbs the Great Rift Escarpment. Enjoy the scenery and your accommodations. Dinner and a good nights rest.

• Day 3

  Ruaha

  After breakfast, you will spend the entire day on an exciting game drive with a lunch box to enjoy along the drive. The park is home to one of Tanzania’s largest elephant populations; estimated to number around 12,000. The park is famous for its lion prides, giraffe, grant’s gazelles, and zebra. You will search on the great Ruaha River during the day and rare or endangered animals on the northern circuit such as Sable Antelope, Greater Kudu and Roan Antelope.

  The great Ruaha River provides life to the park, flowing through the eastern side of the park and is home to hippo, crocodile and a variety of birds. You will catch a glimpse of Racket Tailed Roller, Pale Billed Hornbill, Shelley’s Sunbird and Hoopoes. Later in the evening you will have dinner and turn in for the night.

• Day 4

  Ruaha - Mikumi

  After breakfast, with a lunch box to enjoy along the way drive to Mikumi. Upon arrival you take part in an exciting game half day game drive in Mikumi.. You will see elephants, Velvet Monkey, baboon, giraffe, buffalo, zebra, gazelle, and many more! A chosen site of the lion pride as they roam around or relax under the shady of acacia umbrella tree is an exciting treat! Enjoy the sunset at Hippo pool & enjoy viewing animals’ with a cool drink. Dinner and your overnight stay is provided.

• Day 5

  Mikumi - Dar Es salaam

  After breakfast you will drive back to Dar Es salaam with a lunch box to enjoy along the trip. Upo arrival, you will be dropped-off to your hotel, air or sea port. This is where your safari will end.
