Arusha - Tarangire National Park(120km - 2 hours)
Pick up from Arusha Hotel at 0800am and drive on tarmac road 120km to Tarangire National Park (2,850 sq km or 1,005 sq mile’s) for the afternoon game viewing in the park, a home to Lion, Leopard, Elephant, buffalo, Python, Zebra, Oryx, Impala and more. Over 450 species of birds have been observed.
Its the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem - a smorgasbord for predators – and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared Oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly observed. Break for Lunch Packed.
The swamps, tinged green year round, are the focus for 550 bird varieties, the most breeding species in one habitat anywhere in the world. On drier ground you find the Kori bustard the heaviest flying bird the stocking thigh ostrich, the worlds largest bird and small parties of ground horn bills blustering like turkeys. Tarangire National Park - Lake Eyasi (180km - 3 hours)
Breakfast at around 0600am. Drive to Lake Eyasi a Bushmen and Datoga village. Lake Eyasi is a very scenic soda lake found on the southern border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This less visited lake lies at the base of the Eyasi escarpment on the western rift valley wall. This afternoon you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the Hadzabe (hunter-gatherer bushmen).
The tribe inhabits the shores of Lake Eyasi as do the Nilotic speaking Datoga tribe. The Hadza live in traditional ways hunting game such as dik-diks and collecting honey. You will visit these tribes, which will include a visit to their homesteads, learn about their way of life, animal tracking, medicinal plants, and much more. Some wildlife and a wide range of bird species can be viewed during walks around the lake, which can be arranged. Dinner and Overnight at Chemuchemu campsite. Meal Plan: {B, L, D}.

Lake Eyasi - Ngorongoro Crater Floor
Very early morning for Breakfast at around 0600am. Thereafter drive to Ngorongoro Crater floor for the morning Game drive. This day gives you chance to explore the famous Ngorongoro Crater in Northern circuit in Tanzania. This Crater is world largest unbroken caldera which hosts varietals of wild animals while mingling with maasai community. Here you will come across the big 5 which are lion, leopard, Rhino, Elephant and Cape buffalo. The crater which is located at Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority.
A Unesco protected World Heritage Site and an International Biosphere Reserve, the largest intact crater in the world and second largest extinct crater in the world has a spectacular concentration of wildlife. Ngorongoro was an active volcano some eight million years ago whose cone collapsed, leaving a huge crater you see today. The Crater rim is wooded with mountain forest vegetation. Kudu Campsite - Lake Natron (140km - 3 hours)
After breakfast at 0600am the Driver guide who will walk you through the safari itinerary and ensure that you have all you need for your adventure ahead. Then, we will depart for Lake Natron, passing through Engaruka Maasai Village, famous for its historical ruins. On arrival at Lake Natron you will spend a couple of hours exploring the shoreline photographing the many thousands of flamingos and other birds that frequent this soda lake.
The camp has a special concession with the village of Engare Sero, which lies only 7km away. As a simple form of ground rent for their spot beside the lake, the camp pays the village $20 per guest per night plus an annual rental fee. Walk to the waterfalls or to the hominid footprints archaeological site or maybe even an afternoon game drive around the Lake. Lake Natron - Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha 220km - 3 hours)
Wake up early morning for breakfast then drive with lunch box to Lake Manyara National Park (330 sq km or 127 sq mileÂ’s) on the base of the Great Rift Valley, for the Afternoon game drives. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Highlights include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration, as well as other large water birds such as pelicans, cormorants and storks.
The park is home to Lion, Hippo, Elephant, Zebra, Buffalo, Giraffe, Baboon, Blue and Vervet monkey, Warthog and more…About 350 species of birds have been recorded. This small park contains also five distinct vegetation zones. Thus supporting a large variety of birds and animals. The Manyara National park is also famous for its large flocks of flamingos. This is a great way to see the park from a new perspective. After lunch drive to Arusha for the drop off. Meal Plan: {B, L}.
