Depart any day to the Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater on a Basic Camping Safari, in a small; Joining Group in (4 or 6 seat 4x4 Safari Land Cruiser) with everyone having a Window Seat. Our small groups range from 4 to 6 people in a ordinary or extended land cruiser (6 seat) with a roof hatch that ‘pops up’ to enable easy viewing and photography.   • Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park(130km - 2 hours)

    Pick up from Arusha Hotel at 0800am and drive on tarmac road 130km with lunch box to Lake Manyara National Park (330 sq km or 127 sq mile’s) on the base of the Great Rift Valley, for the Afternoon game drives. Lake Manyara is the perfect to Tanzania’s bird life. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even visitor to Africa might expect to observe 100 of these in one day.

    Highlights include thousands of pink-hued flamingos, as well as other large water birds such as pelicans, cormorants and storks. The park is home to Lion, Hippo, Elephant, Zebra, Buffalo, Giraffe, Baboon, Blue and Vervet monkey, Warthog and more…About 350 species of birds have been recorded.

  • Lake Manyara National Park - Ndutu Area(120km - 3 hours)

    Very early morning breakfast at around 0600am. Thereafter with your Lunch Packed drive to Ndutu Area with a game drive en route via Ngorongoro Crater rim. Tanzanias oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plainThey come here during the rains, December through May.

    They calve on the plains in February, they gallop through the woodlands, they swim across the lake Ndutu. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa. The spectacle of predator versus prey dominates Tanzania’s greatest park.

    Golden-maned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Seronera River, while a high density of cheetahs prowls the southeastern plains. Dinner and Overnight at Serengeti Savannah Tented Camp. Meal Plan: {B, L, D}.

  • Ndutu Area

    Depart very early in the for searching the annual great wildebeest migration whereby wildebeest and many animals migrates from Masai Mara and central Serengeti and go back to Ndutu Area of calving. The calving season will last for the next six weeks with approximately 8000 young wildebeest born every day in the peak calving period.

    Witnessing a newly born calf capable of running in a matter of minute is one of natures most incredible events. Ndutu also support many species of wildlife. The area also boasts about 500 bird species, including ostrich, secretary bird, Kori bastard, crowned crane, marabou stork, martial eagle, and many specie of vultures.

  • Ndutu - Ngorongoro Crater Rim(90km - 2 hours)

    Wake up at 0600hours for early morning game drives in Ndutu at 0900 hours back to the Lodge for breakfast. Here in the Ndutu region you can often watch wildebeest and zebras next to lions and other big cats such as leopards and cheetahs.

    Lunch is taken at a picnic spot before a slow drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. On the way you will pass the Olduvai Gorge where the English pair, Louis and Mary Leak pioneered excavation work. In the sixties some of the earliest archaeological deposits of human evolution was found and a small museum (visit optional) documents these discoveries.

    Then check out and drive with lunch and game viewing en route to Ngorongoro Crater Rim. On the way you will pass the Olduvai Gorge where the English pair, Louis and Mary Leak pioneered excavation work. This is at extra cost of 36$ per person.   • Ngorongoro Crater Floor - Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport(240km - 4 hours)

    Breakfast at 0600am. Thereafter drive into Ngorongoro Crater Floor (19.2 km of diameter, 610m deep, 304 sq km) for a the game drive. It is actually a caldera, which was formed centuries ago when a massive volcano imploded and collapsed in on itself. Ngorongoro Crater is often called Africas Garden of Eden the 8th Natural Wonder of the World.

    This breathtaking oasis provides a haven for both predator and prey to live among grasslands, fresh springs and the large soda lake. All the Big five Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera, and many more mammals.

    Birds includes flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more. Nowhere else can such a diversity in wildlife be experienced in such a short period of time. Carrion eaters such as golden jackals, vultures, ensure that not a shred of their flesh is wasted. Thereafter Lunch drive to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport on tarmac road before 0500pm for your own flight home/Zanzibar.
