Depart any day to the Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater on a Basic Camping Safari, in a small; Joining Group in (4 or 6 seat 4x4 Safari Land Cruiser) with everyone having a Window Seat. Our small groups range from 4 to 6 people in a ordinary or extended land cruiser (6 seat) with a roof hatch that ‘pops up’ to enable easy viewing and photography.   • Arusha - Tarangire National Park(120km - 2 hours)

    Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 0800am. Drive to Tarangire National Park (2,850 sq km) for the game drive. Our destination to valleys of large seasonal white sand river, with fig trees, baobabs and tamarinds trees lining its banks, where narrow deep holes have been dug by elephants. Searching for subterranean water, and where we find our picnic lunch, set up under the shade of a nearby tree.

    Herds of 300 elephants scratch the dry river bed for underground streams during the dry season, while migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, gazelle, eland crowd the shrinking lagoons. On drier ground you find the Kori bastard and secretary bird. On the way you will visit a Masai Laibon Meshuku Ole Mapi in Makuyuni area of western of Arusha.

    With 2,000 plus cows, 600 goats, 200 sheep, among other domestic animals, about 100 years old Ole Mapi. Bring Book, Pens, Pencils for the school children. Visit Esilalei Masai village etc. Dinner and Overnight at Panorama Safari Camp. Meal Plan: {L, D}.

  • Twiga Campsite - Lake Manyara National Park

    Breakfast at 0600am. Drive into Lake Manyara National Park (330 sq km) on the base of the Great Rift Valley, for a full day game drive. Stretching for 50 km along the base of the rusty-gold 600-meter high Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is a scenic gem, with a setting extolled by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”.

    From the entrance gate, the road winds through an expanse of lush jungle-like groundwater forest where hundred-strong baboon troops lounge nonchalantly along the roadside, blue monkeys scamper nimbly between the ancient mahogany trees, dainty bush buck tread warily through the shadows, and out sized forest horn bills honk cacophonous in the high canopy.

    Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania's bird life. In this park canoeing has recently been added to the Tourist activities in this park at extra cost. This is a great way to see the park from a new perspective. Dinner Overnight at Panorama Safari Camp. Meal Plan: {B, L, D}.

  • Panorama Safari Camp - Serengeti National Park Km - 4 hours)

    Breakfast at 0600am. Drive to Central Serengeti National Park (14,763 sq km) for a game drive via Ngorongoro Crater rim. Tanzanias oldest and most popular National Park, also a world heritage site. The Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 many gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing.

    The Serengeti National Park is arguably the most impressive wildlife sanctuary in the world. During the months December through March the seemingly unending plains of the southern Serengeti and the Conservation Area are inhabited by enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra. The great herds graze on rain ripened grass.

    Serengeti National Park is a home to lion, leopard, Elephant, Cheetah, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Wild dog, Gazelles, Crocs and more. Lot of birds includes the Eurasia migrants. Dinner and Overnight at Twiga or Taj Rest House. Meal Plan: {B, L, D}.

  • Central Serengeti National Park

    Very early morning game drive. Breakfast at 0900am. After breakfast, continues with both morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti national Park. Remember this is the migration safari, so as Serengeti is very large as your game drives will depend on the move of the migrants, your guide knows very well how to locate the herds.

    The Serengeti National Park is famous for the Great Migration, over one million wildebeest and two hundred thousand plus zebras each year follow the rains. In October and November they travel from the mountains of the north, southwards to the plains seeking lush pastures.

    After the great rainy season in April, May, and June the herds then make their return ward journey. Even without this mass migration, the Serengeti is still an exciting and spectacular place that still cannot fail to enthrall. Dinner and Overnight at Twiga or Taj Rest House. Meal Plan: {B, L, D}.

  • Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater Rim(145km - 3 hours)

    Very early morning game drives in Serengeti National Tanzanias oldest and most popular National park. Also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomsons gazelle join the wildebeestÂ’s trek for fresh grazing.

    At around 0900 hours drive back to the camp for breakfast. Then check out and drive with lunch and game viewing en route to Ngorongoro Crater Rim. Option at extra cost visit Olduvai Gorge, in northern Tanzania, is internationally recognized for Louis and Mary Leakey’s famous discoveries of early humans and magnificent antiquities documenting the evolutionary history of our stone tool-using ancestors, vertebrate fauna, and the environments over the last two million years.   • Ngorongoro Crater Floor - Kilimanjaro Airport(240 - 4 hours)

    Breakfast at 0600am. Thereafter Pick up your Lunch Packed and descend into the Ngorongoro crater floor (19.2 km of diameter, 610m deep, 304 sq km) for a game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino.

    Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, Ngorongoro supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Ngorongoro Crater is often called Africas Garden of Eden the 8th Natural Wonder of the World. All the Big five Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera, and many more mammals.

    Birds includes flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks, Vultures and more. Driver to Kilimanjaro Airport for the Drop off before 0500pm for your flight home/Zanzibar. Meal Plan: {B, L}.
