Arusha - Tarangire National Park (120km) - 2 hours
Pick up from your hotel in Arusha at 0800am and drive on tarmac road 120km to Tarangire National Park (2,850 sq km or 1,005 sq mile’s) for game drives. Picnic Lunch will be served. Tarangire is a home to Lion, Leopard, Elephant, buffalo, Python, Zebra, Oryx, and Impala.
Its the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem - a smorgasbord for predators – and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared Oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly observed. On drier ground you find the Kori bastard, the heaviest flying bird stocking-thigh ostrich, world largest bird and small parties of ground horn bills blustering like turkeys.
More ardent bird-lovers might keep an eye open for screeching flocks of the dazzlingly colorful yellow-collared lovebird, and the somewhat drabber Rufus-tailed weaver and ashy starling – all endemic to the dry Savannah. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Public Campsite. Meal Plan: {L, D}.

Tarangire National Park - North Serengeti (375km - 7 hours)
Breakfast at 0600am. Thereafter drive to North Serengeti National Park with your Picnic Lunch Packed and game drives en route via Ngorongoro Crater rim. North Serengeti National Park is where you can watch Wildebeest Migrations, Eland, Wild dog, Lions, Gazelles, and Crocs. Lot of birds includes the Eurasia migrants.
This diverse and interesting landscape will provide us with the ultimate in game viewing, we will hopefully see all of the plain games, elephants, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, lions and it you are lucky the elusive leopard and cheetah, as well as huge amounts of interesting bird life, from the elegant secretary birds to the flightless ostrich.

North Serengeti National Park
Very early morning breakfast. Pick up your Lunch Packed and drive to Mara triangle or Kogatende for both morning and early afternoon game drives. Remember this is the migration safari, so as Serengeti is large as your game drives will depend on the move of the migrants, your guide knows very well how to locate the herds.
The North Serengeti National Park is famous for the Great Migration over one million wildebeest and two hundred thousand plus zebras each year follow the rains. They migrating throughout the year constantly seeking fresh grazing and it now thought better quality water. The precise timing of the Serengeti wildebeest migration is entirely dependent upon the rainfall patterns each year.

North Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater Rim (235km - 4 hours)
Wake up at 0600hours for early morning game drives in Serengeti at 0900 hours back to the Camp for breakfast. The wildebeest then congregate there, in the Northen Corridor, often building up to a high density before crossing the river. We journey from the wide open plains to the kopjes: these volcanic rocky outcrops provide protection and shelter for a wide variety of animals and from the top we can look out across the vast grasslands of the Serengeti.
Lunch is taken at a picnic spot before a slow drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. On the way you will pass the Olduvai Gorge where the English pair, Louis and Mary Leak pioneered excavation work. In the sixties some of the earliest archaeological deposits of human evolution was found and a small museum (visit optional) documents these discoveries. Ngorongoro Crater Floor - Panorama Safari Camp(60km - 1 hour)
Wake up early morning for breakfast then at 0630hour drive to Ngorongoro Crater where you will descend into the Crater floor 19.2 km of diameter 610m deep, 304 sq km for game drives. All the Big five Black Rhino Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant, Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, and Hyena live in this caldera. Birds includes flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks, and Vultures. Break for lunch at Ngoitoktok spring Picnic sites it will be an unforgettable experience.
Ngorongoro Crater is often called Africa Eden, the 8th Natural Wonder of the World. A massive extinct volcano, its towering tree lined walls drop thousands of feet to a Noah Ark of animals on the verdant floor below. This breathtaking oasis provides a haven for both predator and prey to live among grasslands, fresh springs and the large soda lake. Lake Manyara National Park - Kilimanjaro Airport (130km - 3 hours)
Breakfast at 0600am. Pick up from the Camp at 0630am. Drive with lunch box into Lake Manyara National Park 330 sq km or 127 sq miles on the base of the Great Rift Valley, for the morning game drives. Lake Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s bird life. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day.
Highlights include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration, as well as other large water birds such as pelicans, cormorants and storks. The park is home to Lion, Hippo, Elephant, Zebra, Buffalo, Giraffe, Baboon, Blue and Vervet monkey, Warthog and more…About 350 species of birds have been recorded.
Lake Manyara contains five distinct vegetation zones. Thus supporting a large variety of birds and animals. The Manyara National park is also famous for its large flocks of flamingos. Thereafter drive to Kilimanjaro Airport for the drop off. Meal Plan: {B, L}.
