Depart any day to the Lake Manyara National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater on a Basic Camping Safari, in a small; Joining Group in (4 or 6 seat 4x4 Safari Land Cruiser) with everyone having a Window Seat. Our small groups range from 4 to 6 people in a ordinary or extended land cruiser (6 seat) with a roof hatch that ‘pops up’ to enable easy viewing and photography.   • Arusha/Lake Manyara National Park

    Pick up from Arusha Hotel at 0800am and drive on tarmac road 130km with lunch box to Lake Manyara National Park (330 sq km or 127 sq mile’s) on the base of the Great Rift Valley, for the Afternoon game drives. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day.

    Highlights include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration. The park is home to Lion, Hippo, Elephant, Zebra, Buffalo, Giraffe, Baboon, Blue and Vervet monkey, Warthog. About 350 species of birds have been recorded. This small park contains also five distinct vegetation zones.

    The Manyara National park is also famous for its large flocks of flamingos. In this park canoeing has recently been added to the Tourist activities in this park at extra cost.   • Lake Manyara National Park/Kogatende Area

    Breakfast at 0600 am. After breakfast we will head to Kogatende area situated in the northern Serengeti National Park bordering Masai Mara Triangle. On the way to the camp you go on your first game drive around Central Serengeti National Park. The area is usually heavily populated with elephant, birds and resident game.

    During a short time frame around June, normally lasting for about 3 weeks, the majority of the wildebeest calve. The sea of grass provides little cover and the young are easy pickings for a variety of predators. Wildebeest calves can run minutes after they are born and within 3 days they are normally strong enough to keep up with the herd.

    Game drives are the highlight of any safari and one of the most amazing things you are ever likely to experience.   • Kogatende Area

    We can wake early for a sunrise game drive in the north Serengeti National Park around Mara triangle without crossing the border to Kenya. This should be discussed with your safari guide the previous night. Serengeti National Park is the largest part of the Serengeti and Masai Mara Ecosystem that stretches into Kenya and is the stage for the Annual Wildebeests Migration that sees Millions of Wildebeests, Zebras and Gazelles trek thousands of Kilometers in search of pasture and Water.

    Serengeti is also the home for some amazing numbers of wild animals and bird life. This area is a home to lion, leopard, Elephant, Cheetah, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Wild dog, Gazelles and more. Lot of birds includes the Eurasia migrants. Exceptional safari opportunities exist in the private reserves adjacent to Serengeti National Park, many of which are the exclusive domain of the camps we use.   • Kogatende - Central Serengeti National Park

    Wake up at 0600 hours for early morning game drives in Kogatende Area. After breakfast we head towards the central Serengeti National Park, also known as the Seronera. We descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.

    We head to the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. In September - November they travel from the mountains of the north, southwards to the plains seeking lush pastures.

    After the great rainy season in April, May, and June the herds then make their return ward journey. Even without this mass migration, the Serengeti is still an exciting and spectacular place that still cannot fail to enthrall. Dinner and Overnight at Kati Kati Tented Camp. Meal Plan: {B, L, D}.

  • Serengeti National Park/Ngorongoro Crater Rim

    Wake up at 0600 hours for early morning game drives in Serengeti National Tanzania oldest and most popular national park also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration when some six million hooves pound the open plains as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing.

    At around 0900 hours drive back to the Tented for breakfast. Then check out and drive with lunch and game viewing en route to Ngorongoro Crater Rim. Olduvai Gorge in northern Tanzania is internationally recognized for Louis and Mary Leakey famous discoveries of early humans and magnificent antiquities documenting the evolutionary history of our stone tool using ancestors vertebrate fauna and the environments over the last two million years.   • Ngorongoro Crater/Kilimanjaro Airport

    Wake up early morning for breakfast then at 0630 hours drive to Ngorongoro Crater where you will descend into the Crater floor (19.2 km of diameter, 610 m deep, 304 sq km) for game drives. All the Big five Rhino Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera, others, Hippos, Wildebeest, Hyena and more…Birds includes flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks and more. Break for lunch at Ngoitoktok spring Picnic sites it will be an unforgettable experience.

    A massive extinct volcano, its towering tree lined walls drop thousands of feet to a "Noahs Ark" of animals on the verdant floor below. This breathtaking oasis provides a haven for both predator and prey to live among grasslands, fresh springs and the large soda lake. Large herds of zebra, buffalo, antelope and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. After lunch proceed with fame viewing while ascending the Crater and drive to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight home. Meal Plan: {B, L}.
