Arusha - Arusha National Park (48km – 1 hour)
Pick up from Arusha Hotel at 0800am and drive 48km with packed lunch to Arusha National park for game drives. This park is a home to Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Black and white Colobus Monkey, Baboon and many birds include Turraco and flamingos.
The Momella Lakes, with their shallows sometimes tinged pink with thousands of flamingos, the lakes support a rich selection of resident and migrant waterfowl, and shaggy water bucks display their large lyre-shaped horns on the watery fringes. Giraffes glide across the grassy hills, between grazing zebra herds, while pairs of wide-eyed dik-dik dart into scrubby bush like overgrown hares on spindly legs.
It is also at dusk and dawn that the veil of cloud on the eastern horizon is most likely to clear, revealing the majestic snow-capped peaks of Kilimanjaro, only 50km (30 miles) distant. Thereafter drive to Arumeru Lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Meal Plan:{L, D}.

Arusha - Tarangire National Park (120km – 2 hours)
Breakfast at 0700am. Pick up from you’re the Lodge at 0800am and drive on tarmac road 120km to Tarangire National Park (2,850 sq km) for game drives. Its the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem - a smorgasbord for predators and the one place in Tanzania where dry-country antelope such as the stately fringe-eared Oryx and peculiar long-necked gerenuk are regularly observed.
The swamps, tinged green year round, are the focus for 550 bird varieties. On drier ground you find the Kori bustard, the heaviest flying bird; the stocking-thigh ostrich, the worlds largest bird; and small parties of ground hornbills blustering like turkeys. More ardent bird-lovers might keep an eye open for screeching flocks of the dazzlingly colorful yellow-collared lovebird, and the somewhat drabber Rufus-tailed weaver and ashy starling – all endemic to the dry Savannah. Tarangire National Park - Lake Manyara National Park (70km – 1 hours)
Breakfast at 0700am. Pick up from the Lodge at 0800am and drive on tarmac road 70km with lunch box to Lake Manyara National Park (330 sq km) on the base of the Great Rift Valley, for the Afternoon game drives. Lake Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. The park is home to Lion, Hippo, Elephant, Zebra, Buffalo, Giraffe, Baboon, Blue and Vervet monkey, Warthog and more…About 350 species of birds have been recorded.
This small park contains also five distinct vegetation zones. Thus supporting a large variety of birds and animals. The Manyara National park is also famous for its large flocks of flamingos. In this park canoeing and tree top walk way has recently been added to the Tourist activities in this park at extra cost. This is a great way to see the park from a new perspective. Lake Manyara National Park - North Serengeti National Park (205km – 5 hours)
Breakfast at 0600am. After breakfast we will head towards the Serengeti National Park leaving the highlands behind we drive into the heart of wild Africa the Serengeti National Park. With its endless plains rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the Lobo area which is located just north of the Seronera area or central Serengeti National Park.
The wildebeest migration normally pass through the Lobo area every year around July & August en route to the Kenya Masai Mara Game Reserve and again in late October and November en route to the southern Serengeti National Park. Drive to Serengeti National Park 14,763 sq km for a game drive.
The Serengeti is famed for its annual migration when some six million hooves pound the open plains as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 many gazelle join the wildebeests trek for fresh grazing. Dinner and Overnight at Serengeti Savannah Tented Mobile Camp. Meal Plan: {B, L, D}.

Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, continue with both morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti national Park. Remember this is the migration safari, so as Serengeti is very large as your game drives will depend on the move of the migrants, your guide knows very well how to locate the herds.
The Serengeti National Park is famous for the Great Migration, over one million wildebeest and two hundred thousand plus zebras each year follow the rains. In October and November they travel from the mountains of the north, southwards to the plains seeking lush pastures.
After the great rainy season in April, May, and June the herds then make their return ward journey. Even without this mass migration, the Serengeti is still an exciting and spectacular place that still cannot fail to enthrall. Dinner and Overnight at Serengeti Savannah Tented Camp. Here in the Serengeti region you can often watch wildebeest and zebras next to lions and other big cats such as leopards and cheetahs. Ngorongoro Crater Floor - Kilimanjaro Airport (240km – 4 hours)
Wake up early morning for breakfast then at 0730hours drive to Ngorongoro Crater where you will descend into the Crater floor (19.2 km of diameter, 610m deep, 304 sq km) for game drives. All the Big five Rhino Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant live in this wonderful caldera, others are Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest, Hyena and more. Ngorongoro Crater is often called Africas Eden, the 8th Natural Wonder of the World.
A massive extinct volcano, its towering tree lined walls drop thousands of feet to a "Noahs Ark" of animals on the verdant floor below. This breathtaking oasis provides a haven for both predator and prey to live among grasslands, fresh springs and the large soda lake. Nowhere else can such a diversity in wildlife be experienced in such a short period of time. After lunch proceed with game viewing while ascending the Crater and drive to Drop off at Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight home. Meal Plan: {B, L}.
