Drive to Lake Bunyonyi, South Western Uganda
Today, Our Guide will pick you up from the Airport or your accommodation to commence on your journey to a beautiful Lake Bunyonyi, “Lake of the little birds”. It’s one of the most beautiful places in Uganda surrounded by hills, People call it “The Switzerland of Africa. Lake Bunyonyi lies in south western Uganda and It is one of the few lakes in the region that is rumored to be free of bilharzia and safe for swimming.
On your way to Lake Bunyonyi, you will stop over at the equator in Masaka town. At this point, there are two cement circles marking the equator line where you can watch a demonstration on how water swirls in opposite directions in the northern & southern hemispheres.
Another reason that makes it a worthwhile stop are the great shopping bargains, several craft shops and art galleries that sell souvenirs and handmade products while some with marks talking about the Equator. You will have lunch En route and proceed to Lake Bunyonyi for an overnight. Journey Time is 7 hrs.

Lake Bunyonyi Experience, Canoeing, Boat Trip, Swimming and Island Tour
After a relaxed breakfast, you may decide to engage in one or many of the following activities Bird watching, Motor-boat trips with guide, Canoe hire with or without guides, Canoe trekking, Fishing, Safe swimming in the lake, Visiting Hot Springs, Visiting Pygmy community with guide, Visiting one of the many Islands among others as you await on your Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park on the next day for the Gorgeous Gorilla Tracking. After these amazing activities, you will retire at the Lodge for Dinner and over night.

Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest Forest National Park
Today you embark on your journey to the famous Bwindi Impenetrable forest which lies in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the Rift Valley. This park is mostly famous for the rare mountain gorillas and the drive to the park is incredibly scenic, passing through various local villages and the lush green countryside & hills which characterize so much of south western Uganda. Once there, the forest park is one of the richest ecosystems in Africa and the diversity of species is a feature of the park.
It provides habitat for some 120 species of mammals, 348 species of birds, 220 species of butterflies, 27 species of frogs, chameleons, geckos and many other species. Floristically Bwindi is among the most diverse forests in East Africa, with more than 1,000 flowering plant species including 163 species of trees and 104 species of ferns the journey will take 3 hours where you can have an optional Pygimie (Batwa) Visit who are the indigenous people and used to inhabit in the Bwindi Forest.

Gorilla Tracking Experience
Today you track the Mountain Gorillas in the Ancient Bwindi impenetrable Forest which takes a couple of hours or a whole day depending on the location of the Apes. While on the search for the Gorillas you keep an eye out for forest species such as buffaloes, elephants, Black fronted duikers and Bush bucks, It is a humbling experience to stand just meters from man’s distant cousins as they eat, rest, play and bond with their young ones.
Follow the mountain gorillas as they range freely in the impenetrable forest and discover their gorgeous natural habitat and the many species they share it with as you take pictures enjoying Gorillas from a close range observing adults feeding, groaning and resting as the youngsters play and move backward and forward in a pleasantly comical demonstration. After a well-earned trip to the gorillas, you will drive back to your lodge for an overnight. You can rest your tired legs and restorative massage, offered from the gorilla tracking experience.

Drive to Queen Elizabeth national park Via Ishasha Sector for Tree Climbing Lions
After breakfast, you embark on your Drive to Queen Elizabeth National park which covers an area of about 1978 km2; and its position provides a magnificent view of the rift valley floor that occupies Lake Edward and George.
The park has one of the highest bio diversity ratings of any national park in the world as its well known to be habitat of about 95 mammals along with 612 species of birds, You will have a game drive through the Ishasha sector south of the park which is notably recognized for its resident Tree climbing lions that are an exceptional attraction and among the highlights on all safaris taken within the Park, the Lions are now and again spotted hanging on branches of huge fig trees whereas the Uganda Kob graze in the plains Ishasha.
The landscape in this section is considerably different from that found in other sectors of the park. The Drive will take about 5 hours as you retire at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Morning Game drive & Boat cruise Along Kazinga Channel
After an early breakfast, you will go for a long morning game drive at 6.30 A.m in time to catch up with the early risers and see the sun rise as well whereby you will search for all the wildlife in the park; Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Waterbuck, Leopard, Uganda Kob, Warthog, etc. After lunch, you will take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel in the afternoon and you will see a lot of hippos (more than you can possibly imagine), as well as a variety of other animals which come to the waterhole to drink or bathe.
You can expect to see: Buffalo, Crocodile, bathing Elephant, and a range of beautiful birds. This will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your tour. After the boat-safari you do a short evening game drive as you drive back to the lodge.

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park (Primate Capital)
Today after breakfast, you proceed to Kibale forest national park that is a home to a total of 70 mammal species and most famously 13 species of primates including the chimpanzee. On your arrival in the afternoon, you proceed for a swamp walk which takes(2-3 hours) and enjoy your walk through the grassland, small communities and some beautiful scenery where the locals are likely to greet you with enthusiastic waves.
It is usual to spot 3 or 4 different primate species during this walk, though the highlight is catching a glimpse of the Great Blue Turaco and better to capture the thrill of a howling black and white colobus or to listen to the wood owl calling his partner, Expect a green, lush environment, birds and butterflies, forest smells and sounds. In short a place to unwind from the concrete jungle”, Rest at the Lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Travel time is about 3 hours to Kibale from Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Chimpanzee tracking/Habituation Experience
Today in the morning you will choose either choose to do Chimpanzee Tracking or Habituation Depending on thee Permit secured where the experienced Uganda wildlife ranger takes you through the Process. Chimps have been tracked since 1993 and the chances of locating them are excellent. Guided walks start at 8am and 2pm and last an average of three hours, depending on various factors.
Beside the chimps, thirteen species of Primates can be sought, and a good variety of diurnal monkeys invariably encountered during your trek to the chimpanzees Today, in the morning or afternoon (depending on the time for chimp tracking) you have a crater-lake hike and be able to do site seeing as you view the magnificent scenery of Kibale National Park, After this amazing Experience, You will have a relaxed evening as you Prepare for the Journey on the next day.

Drive Back to Kampala City or Entebbe
After breakfast (Inclusive), drive back to Kampala with a stopover for en-route lunch, your guide drops you back at either your accommodation (Kampala/Entebbe) or at Entebbe Airport for your late evening flight. Thank you.Travel Time:6 hours.
