Description

Our climb follows the Marangu route, a journey of about eighty kilometres to Mt Kilimanjaro’s summit. It is the only route where you can stay in communal mountain huts. The route begins at Marangu Gate at 1,860m and passes through the tropical rain forest to the Maundi Crater. The forest gives way to rolling alpine meadows before getting rugged and rocky as you gain altitude. Youre on top of the world at Uhuru Peak (5,895m). What an experience - A vast once in a life time sunrise over Africa!
