Description

Zanzibar is an archipelago made up of Zanzibar and Pemba Islands, and several islets. It is located in the Indian Ocean, about 25 miles from the Tanzanian coast. Zanzibars local people are an incredible mixture of ethnic backgrounds, indicative of her colourful history. The beaches in Zanzibar are a paradise, interspersed with picturesque fishing villages, where the people live a simple way of life, unchanged over the years.

  • Airport to Stone Town

    The first day of your trip to Zanzibar will start with the pick up at 15h00 from the Zanzibar airport. You will get transferred to the Kisiwa House where you will stay during all days of your trip. Here you will get a good rest to be well prepared for the exciting next day.

  • Stone Town

    After the breakfast at 07h00 in the hotel you will have a guided tour of Stone Town at 09h00. On this tour you will visit the fish market, the former Slave market site, Sultan Palace, the House of Wonders, the narrow streets and the ancient doors.

    At 12h00 you will get Lunch at the Freddy Mercury restaurant and have the afternoon at leisure. At 16h30 is the departure at the hotel to experience a one hour dhow cruise along Stone Town waterfront. You enjoy a sundowner cocktail and let the night fade away.

  • Stone Town

    Before you get transferred to Mangapwani village at 08h00 you will have breakfast at 07h00 in the hotel. In Mangapwani there is a scenery of farming activities. You will visit the slave chambers and caves.At 12h30 there will be a barbecue lunch at the Mangapwani restaurant. After the lunch you will get transferred back to Stone town. The afternoon is at leisure on the beach for optional swimming and sailing.

  • Departure

    After these amazing days at Zanzibar Island the fourth day is the day of departure. After a breakfast at 08h00 you will be transferred to the Zanzibar Airport for your onward flight.
