Transfer to Mikumi - Evening and Sunset Game Drives
Today you will be picked up from your residence in Dar es Salaam around 05:00 hours to start your drive to Mikumi National Park, this trip takes about 6 hours to get to the entrance gate. When you arrive at the park you will be checked in at your accommodation to refresh, have lunch, and later on will go for evening and sunset game drives.
In Mikumi National Park you can expect to see animals such as lion, buffalo, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, impala, warthog, elephant, hippo, more than 300 bird species, and various plant species. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the Park Cottages and the meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Sunrise and Morning game drives - Transfer to Dar Es Salaam
Early in the morning you will leave for the sunrise game drives starting from 06:30 hours for about 2 hours before a breakfast break will be taken within the park. After breakfast you will continue with game drives around the park to cover other areas of interest looking for wild animals. You will have lunch break within the park and start driving back to Dar late in the evening.
The meal plan includes breakfast, lunch, and refreshments. When you arrive in Dar Es Salaam, you will be taken to your residency. An an extra cost, accommodation upgrades and extra activities are available including walking and night safaris.
