3-Day Mikumi Wildlife Exprience

Description

For three days with 2 nights get to experience Tanzanian safari in Mikumi National Park. Each trip will have evening and sunset game drives, a full day game drives into the Mikumi flood plains and Savannah, and a sunset game drives before drive back to your residency. You will have 2 nights overnight stay within the park at the Park cottages where animals do wonder around during the day and at night. Enjoy local beers and drinks by the Tamarind bar right outside overlooking the wild.

  • Transfer to Mikumi - Evening and senset Game drives

    Early morning of this day you will be picked up from your hotel in Dar at around 05:30 hours and after greetings/introduction you will start your trip to Mikumi National Park via Morogoro town. This trip will take about 6 hours of standard driving speed with a stop in Chalinze breakfast and refreshments break.

    Will continue with drive and when you arrive at the park you will be checked in and taken to your accommodation to refresh and have lunch.Later on the day will start evening and sunset game drives. Dinner and overnight stay at the Park Cottages:Meal plan includes: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and refreshments.

  • Full day Game Drives

    On this day you will have sunrise game drive starting from 06:30 hours and come back to the cottages for breakfast at around 08:30 hours. Will continue with game drive till lunch time whereby you will have lunch at the Mikumi Wildlife Camp where you have the chance to view animals as they wonder around the camp watering holes while having your meals.

    After lunch and a little rest you will continue with game drive in another part of the park till sunset around 18:30 hours and that will be the end of full day game drive. In Mikumi expect to see animals such as Lions, Buffalo, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebras, Impalas, Warthogs, elephants, hippos and more than 300 bird species.After game drives will go back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.Meal Plan Includes: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and refreshments.

  • Sunrise Game Drives and Transfer back to Dar Es Salaam

    Early morning of this day you will have sunrise game drives till around 08:00 hours whereby you will have breakfast at your lodge and then thereafter start drive back to Dar Es Salaam to be able to connect to Zanzibar (If traveling to Zanzibar by boat on the same day – we can also book boat tickets for you at an extra cost).

    If not going to Zanzibar will continue with game drives till lunch break taken within the park or in Morogoro town. After lunch break will start driving back to Dar.When you arrive in Dar you will be transferred to your residency or ferry and that will be the end of your 3 days/2nights safari with Watu Safaris.Meals plan Includes: Breakfast, lunch and refreshments.
