• Day 1

  Transfers to Selous and Boat Safari

  You will be picked up from your hotel in Dar at around 06:00 hours to start trip to Selous Game reserve. When you get to the Reserve you will be checked in at your accommodation, have lunch and later on at around 15:00 hours will go for boat safari on the Rufiji river. Dinner and overnight stay at Africa Safari Camp.

• Day 2

  Game Drives into the Selous Game Reserve

  This day will be dedicated to enjoying the wilderness of the great Selous Game reserve. You will leave early morning of this day with packed breakfast and lunch boxes to go for full day game drive covering different attractions within the reserve. Dinner and overnight stay at Africa Safari Camp.

• Day 3

  Transfers to Mikumi and Evening Game Drives

  Early morning of this day will leave for game drives enroute to Mikumi National Park via Kisaki village and Morogoro town. You will have lunch break in Morogoro town and then continue to the park. When you arrive you will be checked inn and refresh at your accommodation and later on go for evening and sunset game drives. Dinner and overnight stay at the Park Cottages within the park.

• Day 4

  Game Drives in Mikumi National Park

  On this day you will be taken for sunrise game drives starting from 06:30 hours till around 08:30 whereby you will have breakfast, there after continue with game drives till the end of full day game drives at around 15:30 hours.

  In Mikumi National Park expect to see animals such as Lions, Buffalos, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebras, Impalas, Warthogs, elephants, hippos, more than 300 bird species and various plant species.After game drives you will be transferred to Udzungwa Mountains National Park. Dinner and overnight stay within the park at Twiga Hotel.

• Day 5

  Trekking into the Udzungwa Mountains

  The purpose of this trip is to show you the Natural habitats of Udzungwa National Park. Early morning of this day you will be picked from Twiga Hotel and drive to the entrance gate. After registering will start climbing taking the Sanje route to be able to see the 4 stage waterfalls. Udzungwa is one of thirty four World Biodiversity hotspots.

  Expect to see Primates. Udzungwa have 11 primates species whereby 2 of these are found no where in the world, these are Sanje Mangabey (Cercocebus sanjei) and Iringa Red Colobus (Procobus gordonorum). Also you may have the opportunity to see habituated Sanje Mangabeys, different endemic plant species, birds, reptiles and Amphibians, Butterflies, waterfalls, etc.When you come down will be transferred to Mikumi town and taken to Tanswiss Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

• Day 6

  Transfers to Dar Es Salaam

  Early in the morning of this day you will have breakfast at your hotel in Mikumi town and there after start trip back to Dar via Morogoro town. Once in Dar you will be taken to your residency and that will be the end of your 6 days/5 nights tour with Watu Safaris.
