4-Day Mount Meru Climb Adventure
Mount Meru is the second highest mountain in Tanzania and the fifth highest on the African Continent. Its distinct appearance was formed around 250 000 years ago by a tremendous volcanic eruption that destroyed the entire eastern flank, leaving a horseshoe-shaped crater. On your trek you might come across large game such as giraffes, buffaloes, baboons, elephants, antelopes and colobus monkeys. You will be accompanied by an armed park ranger on your tour.

4-Day Mount Meru Climbing Tour
At 4566m, Mount Meru is the fifth highest mountain in Africa and the second highest mountain in Tanzania. Climbing Mount Meru is a great preparation hike for climbing Kilimanjaro, or a spectacular trek for those not compelled to do Kilimanjaro. You will hike past wildlife, spectacular landscapes, and watch the sunrise from the summit with Kilimanjaro as the backdrop.
4-Day Trekking to Mount Meru
The Mt. Meru is an easier trek than it’s slightly taller neighboring Mt Kilimanjaro. However, it’s a serious trek and proper acclimatization is important. The route is quite steep and can be done in four days (three nights) Overnight is in huts. In addition to your walking guide, an armed Ranger will accompany you to protect you from wildlife.

Mount Meru is located north of the city of Arusha. It is the second-highest mountain in Tanzania, after Mount Kilimanjaro. The Momella route - which Start at Momella gate, on the eastern side of the mountain - is used to climb Mount Meru. Mount Meru is the topographic centerpiece of Arusha National Park. Its fertile slopes support a forest that hosts diverse wildlife, including nearly 400 species of birds, and monkeys.
